Hydrostone Academy (formerly the Shambhala School) is a small independent school dedicated to providing holistic education from pre-primary through Grade 12. Our mission is to nurture the whole child's development, foster a love for learning, and cultivate compassionate, mindful individuals. Our unique curriculum combines an emergent approach with an emphasis on oral storytelling, music, and verse, grounded by the pillars of Mindfulness, Outdoor Education, Arts Integration, Community, and a Culturally Sustaining Curriculum.
