We're excited to announce a temporary opportunity for a Program Assistant for our RPL/CCA Program. This 15-month term is anticipated to commence in June 2025.
Position Scope:
The Program Assistant for the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) Program is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the RPL Program. The RPL Program Assistant's key duties include RPL admissions, data management, and tracking the funding, as needed. This position requires a great deal of tact, sensitivity, attention to details, ability to handle fast-paced turnaround of inquiries, and a high level of confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Function as admissions officer
- Responds to all RPL inquiries in a timely and supportive manner
- Screens RPL applicants to ensure compliance with admission requirements
- Admits eligible applicants and seeks guidance for complex cases
- Supports participants to progress through the process (Phase I registration letters, Statement of Standing credit letters, Phase II registration letters, exam eligibility letters, etc.)
- Manages the RPL data
- Enters all participants' data and admission requirements into CRM and SharePoint
- Ensures files are accurate, up to date, and have consistent nomenclature
- Communicates effectively with RPL Navigators about respective participants
- Tracks spending related to RPL funding
- Posts payments
- Supports program evolution
- Provides administrative support for the program revision
Competencies and Education Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in administrative and/or business-related studies, or 5 years experience in an office setting. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook e-mail, information management systems (Dynamic 365 - CRM), and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with the public/customers to meet the customer's goals (examples may include education, service-related), including effectively responding to general inquiries, phone calls, emails, etc.
