We are currently seeking a Risk Research & Policy Specialist to join our Risk & Resiliency team based in the Firm's Halifax, NS office.
Type of Position: *18-Month Contract

The Opportunity:
The Risk Research & Policy Specialist will work closely with the Risk Management group and other stakeholders to support the Firm's Risk Management & Resiliency Strategy by researching and analyzing data to better understand compliance requirements & project related risks and opportunities.
Through collection of data from multiple sources, the Risk Research & Policy Specialist will provide comprehensive assessments on various risk related projects, monitor legislative and regulatory requirements to support Firm compliance and documentation, as well as draft and prepare reports, templates, visuals and training materials to support various risk-related projects.
In addition, the successful candidate will facilitate the Firm's policy management program, which includes assisting Policy Owners with the review, drafting, formatting, and approval processes, while tracking annual compliance through the policy repository. The candidate will also support the administration of client document tracking and review using various technologies, as well as assist with client document review and tracking processes.
If you possess 1-3 years of risk research and/or policy management experience & have a bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, we want to hear from you!
*Please note, this is an 18-month contract position with the potential to renew or become permanent based on the evolving needs of the Firm.
