Our Sudbury/Timmins location is currently seeking an Account Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong list of targeted strategic customers by building strategies and executing a defined plan
- Manage and build strong relationships with clients
- Promote all product verticals, strategic vendors and product lines to increase revenue and margin for any Source Atlantic and Soucie Salo safety branch
- Support and grow selected company initiatives
- Identify product, service and solution opportunities with new customers, existing customers and new market segments
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the business and be able to create a solid value proposition
- Write business proposals
- Negotiate with key stake holders with clients
- Continue to research new business streams, projects that would be good viable income streams
- Follow and stay on top of all key industry trends
- Be part of the team to draft and review contracts
- Report and track activity in the CRM and hold regular meetings with management on progress
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of industrial sales experience
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Proactive, motivated, professional self-starter
- Ability to use Internet, and Microsoft Office effectively with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
- Travel required
- Knowledge of the wholesale industrial distribution industry is valuable but not required
