Position: Three (3) Full-Time Positions - Temporary Full Time (35 hours per week)

Position Status: Temporary to March 31, 2026 with the possibility of extension
Location: Confederation Building - West Block, St. John's
Salary Scale: CG-29 under the CUPE 1560 Collective Agreement ($27.61 - $30.67)
The successful candidates will be members of the broader NLSchools Finance team, with these 3 positions reporting to the Manager of School Generated Funds (SGFs) with a focus on school finance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- School bank reconciliation analysis and support to schools.
- General support to School Secretaries and School Administrators through the response of Helpdesk tickets, phone and video calls.
- Primary support area:
- Financial Management System (Connect), Online Payment System (Rycor), Financial Procedures.
- Reviewing and approving school invoices and journal vouchers to ensure compliance with financial procedures.
- Supporting the monitoring of SGFs activity to ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
- Assisting in the development of accounting/financial policies and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: 3 year Specialized Post-Secondary Diploma Program in Accounting or Business
- Minimum 2-years' experience in the accounting field preferred
- Knowledge in accounting and Public Sector Accounting Standards
- Proficiency in Excel and technology
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Cayenta/Connect/Rycor systems and/or applicable Legislation are considered assets.
