In this exciting role of Enrolment Advisor, you will play a lead in recruiting students for Acadia University. You will utilize your well-developed presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills to market Acadia as the first-choice post-secondary option to our diverse target audience. As the Enrolment Advisor you will be charged with meeting enrolment targets by developing close working relationships with key stakeholders in their sales territory. This will include prospective high school students, parents, high school guidance counselors, administrators, teachers, as well as alumni, transfer students and others.
Our Enrolment Advisors work with the prospective student from point of contact through to enrolment. You will build strong relationships with all members of the recruitment team, as well as other key internal groups such as Admissions, Registrar's Office, Scholarships & Financial Aid, Alumni, Athletics, faculty, staff, students, and others.
Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule which may at times include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Significant travel will be required.

- We are seeking a candidate who has a Bachelor's Degree. Related sales, marketing, and/or client service experience would be preferred.
- Excellent presentation, diplomacy, and communication skills with a customer service orientation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with indirect supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team environment are required.

- Applicants must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including those required for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, social media communication, and internet research.
- As first-hand knowledge of the Acadia experience would be clearly an asset, preference will be given to our Alumni.
- Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule which may at times include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Significant travel will be required.
- Fluency in English and French is considered an asset.
