At Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre, we have an immediate opening for a Food & Beverage Supervisor! If you are a passionate individual with a flare for customer service and providing unique guest services, we want you!
What You Will Do:- Develop and maintain positive relationships with team, customers, partners, suppliers and accounts
- Promote and strengthen a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
- Hire, train, lead, and motivate team members in the Food and Beverage Department to ensure that staff receive adequate resources, guidance and adhere to service standards through strong talent engagement
- Play a key role in performance management through ongoing coaching, development through the performance appraisal process, and progressive disciplinary process
- Manage complaints professionally and take corrective actions to ensure highest level of guest satisfaction
- Schedule appropriate staffing levelsls to maintain labour costs for department
- Manage Food and Beverage inventory, completing all required reports and submitting to appropriate personnel

- 2+ years experience in a leadership/supervisory role
- Previous inventory, scheduling and cost control experience
- Able to walk or stand for nearly 100% of each shift
- Enthusiasm, energy and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a top-notch guest experience
- Ability to motivate a team and think on your feet, in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work flexible hours, including of evenings, weekends and holidays
