Family Service Nova Scotia (FSNS) is a community-based provincial organization that has been offering a wide variety of programs and services to Nova Scotians since 1969. Supporting our service users is at the centre of everything we do!

POSITION: Youth Outreach Worker
Location: Guysborough & Yarmouth, NS, Western Region
Qualifications:
Our Organization is seeking individuals with an undergraduate degree in Community Studies, Human Kinetics, Psychology or Sociology who have experience working with youth and families. These positions are full time permanent.
Position Requirements:
The Youth Outreach worker provides direct support to youth and will assist in navigating youth to services and resources in the community. The goal is to improve immediate and long term educational, vocational, social economic and health outcomes for young persons aged 16-24.
Persons considered for this position must have an active driver's license, clear vulnerable and child abuse registry checks. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority (all applicants should clearly indicate their status as a Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
