The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst, you will become a valued member of the Technology Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to boost operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements and process flows.
  • Collaborate with IT to translate business needs into functional specifications and technical solutions.
  • Support system testing, quality assurance, and implementation activities.
  • Train and support end users to ensure successful adoption of new solutions.
  • Define measurable benefits and track the impact of implemented projects.
  • Develop business reports, perform data queries, and support report creation.
  • Contribute to business case development and future capital planning.
  • Assist in the management of IT contracts and vendors, including evaluating service delivery, tracking performance, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate with vendors to support solution development, issue resolution, and contract compliance.
  • Schedule and manage system changes and patching activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and alignment with business timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on process improvement and problem solving.
  • Experience working in a technical project environment is an asset.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical language.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
