Position: Term Part Time (60%)
Commencing approximately May 5, 2025 and ending approximately March 31, 2026

Salary range: prorated to 60% at $25,305.62 to $28,313.57 annually

Responsabilités

Working in a team environment and reporting to the Centre Coordinator at the Early Childhood Development Support Centre, Burridge campus, you will:

  • Assist in maintaining resource centre inventory.
  • Field calls and requests, providing superior customer service to students, staff, and the public.
  • Perform assigned tasks relating to workshop delivery and follow-up.
  • Provide supportive coverage for all administrative tasks such as filing, booking appointments, attending meetings, and general office support as needed.
  • You may also be asked to cross-train with other departments to assist with tasks during busy times.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business or Administrative Professional/Office Administration, combined with a minimum of two years of recent and related experience in a fast-paced office environment. Alternatively, you may have the recognized equivalency of a high school diploma with significant (10+) years of administrative experience.
  • Occupational experience that includes Early Childhood Education is an asset.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, email, BrightSpace, Excel, etc.
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology and are committed to using technology to advance your work.
  • Experience in organizing and planning training delivery would be considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting/providing service to students and prospective students would be considered an asset.
