Your Contribution
As an Intern, you will work in collaboration with the Materials
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Collecting field samples and/or prepare laboratory samples as directed by the laboratory supervisor;
- Carrying out field, laboratory and soil compaction testing;
- Recording test data and prepare reports for interpretation of test results by the supervisor;
- Participating in control of the quality of construction materials (floors, concrete cement and bituminous coated material);
- Monitoring receipt of materials delivered to the construction site;
- Compiling quantity data;
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Your Profile
- Studying in a college program related to Civil or Construction Engineering or a relevant field;
- Ability to handle samples up to 25kg of materials regularly ;
- Good oral and written skills to communicate with all personnel involved in the projects;
- Must have a valid Ontario G Driver's License;
- Access to a personal vehicle for work purposes (mileage will be compensated);
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
Qualifications:
