We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Landscaping/Maintenance Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to landscape maintenance and construction, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functional quality of our projects. This person will report to the Landscaping/Maintenance Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscapes, including planting, pruning, and general upkeep of lawns, trees, and shrubs.

Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and hedge shears.

Perform general maintenance duties including cleaning walkways, removing debris, and ensuring outdoor areas are safe and presentable.

Apply fertilizers and other treatments to promote healthy plant growth.

Assist in the construction of hardscape features like walkways, fences, and decks.

Work collaboratively with team members to efficiently complete projects.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in landscaping or general labor is an asset but not required.

Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment safely.

Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
