Established by MD Financial Management Inc. and Scotiabank, the Medicus Pension Plan is currently open to incorporated physicians in Alberta, British Columbia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and the Territories.
The Senior Client Support Representative contributes to the overall success of the Medicus Pension Plan, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed in support of Medicus' business strategies and objectives. The role will ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
This role is a key component of the overall Medicus operating model and is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of Medicus' operational processes to ensure an outstanding client experience. The incumbent's unwavering focus in all activities they perform will be to provide the highest level of client service to existing and prospective Medicus clients.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for Medicus, engaging with prospects and clients to effectively communicate and promote the Medicus value proposition.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the physician journey and the Medicus Pension Plan to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Execute high-quality discovery meetings with new clients, identifying their needs and presenting tailored solutions to facilitate closing.
- Look for opportunities to exceed client expectations and create memorable experiences that enhance the Medicus brand.
- Deliver financial literacy educational sessions to clients, both in one-on-one and group settings, to improve their understanding of the Medicus Pension Plan and its benefits.
- Organize and staff Medicus presence at various engagement events, ensuring high levels of interaction and engagement with attendees.
- Provide personalized and exceptional support to prospective Medicus Pension Plan members during the enrolment process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and new members to ensure a smooth transition and continued satisfaction with Medicus services.
- Plan, organize, and staff events that promote Medicus, ensuring all logistical details are handled seamlessly.
- Engage with prospects and clients at events, providing information, answering questions, and creating a positive experience.
- Track and report on sales performance against plan and/or individual targets.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and product offerings.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on pension products and sales techniques.
- Share best practices and knowledge with the sales team to drive overall performance.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and outcomes.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback for management review.
- Consistently deliver high-quality service and support, meeting or exceeding performance metrics and client expectations.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes, client engagement strategies, and overall service delivery to enhance the Medicus experience.
- Support with the testing and implementation of operational tools, resources, and systems.
- Champion a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
Education & Experience:
- University Degree, College Diploma and/or professional accreditation (or relevant equivalents) and/or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience
- Knowledge of MS Office Tools
