The Teaching and Learning Centre at Mount Saint Vincent University invites applications for the position of Coordinator, Continuing Education
MSVU is seeking a Coordinator, Continuing Education to oversee non-credit continuing education and extended learning programming initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Teaching and Learning, the co-ordinator will engage in strategic planning, development, coordination, and implementation of continuing education programming. The coordinator will identify new programming ideas, participate in the development of continuing education programming, establish and maintain partnerships, track information and trends to determine program goals, and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of continuing education programming. The coordinator will create, review, and maintain policies and procedures related to continuing education aligned with MSVU's mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and program quality assurance expectations. The coordinator will also manage participant enrolments, oversee registration payments, and maintain project-specific accounts and budgets related to externally or specially funded continuing education initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in a related field (Education, Business) and at least three to five years of experience in project management. Preferably, you have experience in developing, promoting and delivering educational programs. You are well-versed in program promotion, customer service, and financial management. You have a proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and expertise in working with partners to achieve results. You have superior interpersonal, time management, and communications skills and are a self-starter who does not require high levels of supervision. You also have experience in managing projects and supervising others. You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, and have an aptitude for, or previous experience using, learning management systems such as Moodle.

Salary: $62,958 per annum [Step Progression: $62,958 to $76,598]
