StFX is looking for their next Director of Facilities Management who will ensure that their campus remains an inspiring, functional, and sustainable space for learning, research, and collaboration.

In this role, you will lead the strategic planning, operations, and maintenance of all university facilities while overseeing a team of more than 120 skilled trades, custodial, and service professionals. You will be responsible for managing multi-million-dollar operating and capital budgets, ensuring efficiency and sustainability, and driving campus master planning and development to support the evolving needs of the academic community. You'll also champion sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives as StFX works towards their goal of net-zero emissions. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with university leadership, faculty, and external partners to ensure the campus environment is built for the future.

We're looking for a leader with a bachelor's degree in engineering and a P.Eng. designation. You should bring at least seven to ten years of leadership experience in facilities management. A strategic mindset, the ability to lead complex projects, and expertise in facilities operations, construction, capital planning, and sustainability will be key to your success. Just as important, you should have a talent for building strong relationships across all levels of an organization, working with partners to create the best possible campus environment.
