Steele Auto Group is seeking Collision Customer Service Representative to join our growing team at Steele Buick GMC!
As a Collision Customer Service Representative with Steele Buick GMC, you'll be the face of our collision center, where strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. You'll assist customers with inquiries, appointments, and ensure their overall satisfaction. Your friendly and professional demeanor is key to success. As a CSR at Steele Buick GMC, you will have excellent communication and organizational skills and able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
Hourly Wage Range: commensurate with knowledge, skills, and abilities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; experience in customer service is preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and email; familiarity with Audatex and Mitchell Estimating software is a plus
- Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and a positive team attitude
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service in line with Steele Collision's best practices and CSI goals
- Manage front office operations to ensure smooth organization and interdepartmental support
- Collaborate with production, estimator, and shop managers to ensure timely and flawless vehicle delivery
- Communicate with customers, explaining processes, providing repair status updates, and coordinating with partners (e.g., rental and insurance companies)
- Build strong customer relationships through service excellence and the promotion of Steele Collision services
- Handle administrative tasks such as updating repair orders, scheduling appointments, managing customer databases, and ensuring accurate billing
- Adhere to safety regulations, complete required training, maintain a positive team environment, and perform additional office duties as needed
- Other duties as required
