Bookkeeper Job Opportunity

Location: Kingston, ON
Shift: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually

Your Role:

• Oversee daily bookkeeping tasks for multiple businesses
• Record expenses, sales, and financial transactions
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Review monthly client reports (Balance Sheet & Profit and Loss) to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Manage transactions using accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
• Prepare year-end financial data for external accountants

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role
• Experience with retail (POS/tender reconciliations) and construction (job-based tracking)
• Proficiency with accounting software (QBO, Xero)
• Familiarity with payroll entry processes
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
• Education: 2- or 3-year diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
