Sansom Equipment Limited is the leading distributor and service provider for pumps, blowers, valves, generators, VFDs and packaged engineered systems for industrial and municipal applications across Eastern Canada.

We are on the search for someone to join our professional team of outside sales representatives. We are currently looking to fill the position for our Outside Technical Sales for Nova Scotia. This role includes sales development responsibilities with our Industrial and Municipal end user accounts in the region, with a focus on mechanical equipment.

Interested applicants should be prepared to demonstrate a high degree of experience, knowledge and understanding of:

Territory and time management for a large geographical area

Managing the relationships of a large portfolio of existing clientele within this territory

Working in a collaborative manner with our clients to provide innovative solutions to their process requirements

Municipal and industrial water and waste water processes and equipment

Fundamental knowledge of electrical principles

PLC programming or VFD knowledge would be considered an asset

Diesel engine and power generation experience is also considered an asset

Effective promotion skills of rotating products and services

Applicants should be:

A well-honed sales professional with a technical education and background

A strong technical / electro-mechanical foundation for rotating equipment and a strong willingness to learn

Highly self-motivated with a goal towards sales growth

Capable of working independently from a home office and / or in a structured office environment

Knowledgeable of the region's municipal and industrial clientele.

We are looking for someone to take on our industrial and municipal suite of products and grow Sansom Equipment business within this region.
