OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

We have an opening for an Operations Coordinator at our Crane Mountain Landfill Facility in Saint John, NB. Crane Mountain is an award winning fully integrated small-to-mid-sized landfill that operates composting, recycling, household hazardous waste, provincial stewardship programs and landfill gas electrical generation facilities in addition to landfilling operations.

The Operations Coordinator reports to the General Manager and supports internal processes for the landfill. The role is responsible for supporting weekly employee payroll data, internal documentation, purchasing, invoices, staff meetings (i.e. Safety) and other day-to-day requirements for the Operations Manager and team. The ability to champion our facility in group and individual settings with employees, government, businesses and peers is a must. Our ideal candidate must be self-driven, organized and be able to achieve their goals within an environment that supports and expects work-life balance.

This role is geared toward a team player with an educational background in administration or similar with some relevant demonstrated experience. The solid waste industry is unique and evolving so we provide annual opportunities for continued learning. Additionally, to support the candidate through transition, the candidate will be immediately supported and mentored by the incumbent and a highly experienced staff.
