Job Title: Purchasing/Administrative Coordinator
Location: Stoney Creek, ON - South Service Rd & Millen Dr
Salary: $45,000 - $50,000/year (based on experience)
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, in office
Job Type: Permanent Hire Opportunity

We are hiring a Purchasing and Administrative Coordinator for our client in Stoney Creek. This company distributes precision tooling and measurement equipment. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of purchasing experience in a similar multi-faceted administrative role.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE AND VALID LICENSE AS THE FACILITY IS NOT TRANSIT ACCESSIBLE. THIS IS A CLIENT REQUIREMENT.

Responsibilities Include:
* Assist with purchasing and procurement (purchase order creation, tracking, etc.)
* Utilize Microsoft Dynamics GL (ERP) for processing purchase orders, supplier information, customer orders, and inventory management
* Track and maintain inventory levels
* Facilitate cost-effective delivery of goods and resolve issues arising from shipments.
* Maintain records of purchase orders, deliveries, and communications, audits
* Provide administrative reports and aid to all departments
* Manage office tasks: scheduling, meetings, correspondence, organization, data entry and accurate documentation
* Provide excellent customer service to customers with inquiries or issues
* Work independently and within a team to ensure order accuracy

Candidate Requirements:
* Long-term experience in similar purchasing/administrative role
* Must have excellent attention to detail, data entry skills, and offer proactive solutions
* Must have valid Driver's License and own vehicle
* Background in technical fields such as magnetics and/or precision measurements preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
* Candidates must be willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
