Job Summary
The Diagnostic Imaging Program of NL Health Services Urban Zone, invites expression of interest for full-time / part-time Radiologists in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. All interested applicants are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established practice of passionate and highly skilled radiologists, while living in a medium sized city which offers a fantastic balance of outdoor activities, culture and a great food scene.
The successful candidate will join a group of 40 Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians located in St. John’s providing tertiary care services to the local community and province. The group practice is affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Medicine and their Radiology Residency training program giving opportunities for research and teaching.
This radiology group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, fluoroscopy and general X-ray, with a full scope of vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures, including supporting a busy Cancer Clinic. The Nuclear Medicine department offers the full array of services including 2 PET CT’s. Services are provided in a hybrid setting of in hospital and work from home options. In addition, this city based group provides support to rural sites and occasional travel may be required.
The successful candidate is expected to have post residency fellowship training and will work providing service in both their chosen subspecialty and general Radiology. There is a call expectation as well and responsibilities are shared with the Radiology Residents with an option to perform some call duties from home.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Degree.
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (or equivalent) in Radiology.

Remuneration: Remuneration is competitive and in accordance with the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association Memorandum of Agreement and MCP Fee Schedule. The successful candidate will join the group practice which has a shared income and expense model.
