Hours Your hours of work will follow the flexible work schedule in accordance with Article 19.01(a) of the NAPE-HP Collective Agreement, based on 150 hours in a 4-week period (by mutual agreement.) Position usually works 75 bi-weekly (8 hours; Days)
Salary CG-46 ($59.45 - $66.31 per hour) which includes a negotiated wage adjustment

Job Summary
This is a specialized clinical position in which the incumbent is responsible for the provision of outpatient psychological on the FACT Team. The incumbent provides psychological assessment, formulation of DSM-5-TR diagnoses and therapeutic interventions. This clinician applies psychological knowledge and principles in clinical practices related to crisis management, suicide risk assessment, provide consultation within FACT case management model and receives support on the model from the team lead. As a clinical leader, the Clinical Psychologist provides supervision to Psychology Residents, Doctoral Students and Provisionally Registered Psychologistsas well as providing clinical direction and consultation to the interdisciplinary team and participating in educational, administrative and research activities is required.
This position reports to the Program Manager and maintains accountability to the Psychology Professional Practice Consultant for professional integrity and practice issues.

Auditory concentration is required in sessions with patients to listen attentively to be alert and to obtain and interpret information correctly. A higher-than-normal level of attentiveness is required when assessing high risk patients.
Job Qualifications Graduation with an approved/recognized Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology is required.
A Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology is preferred.
Registration or provisional registration with Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board is required.
Graduate course work and supervised experience in mental health and addictions is required.
Clinical experience in the provision of comprehensive psychological assessment and therapy to individuals, families and groups is required.
Exhibited strong communication, program development and evaluation skills.
Possessed proven analytical, critical reasoning, collaboration, problem solving, decision-making and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to direct, supervise and mentor students.
Demonstrated ability to effectively translate and communicate knowledge in the specialized area of psychology practice to others.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interprofessional environment and provide clinical consultation.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritizing caseloads and client needs.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a constructive working rapport with clients.
Demonstrated strong awareness of ethical principles and standards of professional conduct.
A valid Newfoundland and Labrador Class 5 Driver's License and the use of a private vehicle are conditions of employment.
