Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is actively recruiting a Carpenter / Cabinet Maker to join the team at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.

As a Carpenter / Cabinet Maker, you would be responsible for performing carpentry or cabinetmaking work at the journeyperson level. Specific duties include:

• Planning work and estimating time and materials
• Fabricating, repairing, or installing cabinets, shelves, windows, or doors
• Inspecting, renovating, or repairing the interior or exterior of buildings
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Designing or building special applications for patient care
• Installing, finishing, or repairing walls, ceilings, floors, and fixtures
• Organizing or coordinating work
• Ordering and maintaining inventory and transporting materials

Who you are

You possess a Red Seal endorsement or a New Brunswick Provincial Certificate of Qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act as a Carpenter or Cabinet Maker. You have two years of related work experience. You have written and spoken competence in English.
