UNB's Centre for Learning Futures supports innovative teaching and learning approaches through its Teaching and Transformative Learning unit across all modes of program and course delivery. The Centre for Learning Futures supports a variety of learning opportunities ranging from online academic programs and courses across a variety of disciplines to executive education, professional development and personal development opportunities. The Office of Experiential Education also operates within the Learning Futures Umbrella.

Salary Range: $25.28 - $29.92 per hour

YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to Online Delivery & Learner Support Coordinator, the Program Delivery Officer is the primary point of contact with UNB staff/faculty, students and external clients in the administration of relevant programs and as such, plays an essential outreach role to both internal and external stakeholders and partners.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for faculty, department admins, chairs, and the Registrar's Office regarding UNB Online's credit programming.
  • Ensure all logistical requirements for credit courses are met, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget approval.
  • Manage the setup and maintenance of the student management system for credit programs.
  • Monitor course enrollments, identify potential issues, and liaise with faculty to address them.
  • Ensure that changes to course delivery are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Develop budgets for new courses, determining supplemental fees or enrollment thresholds to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Approve overages and ensure all expenses align with departmental guidelines.
  • Coordinate and advise on payments related to course delivery.
  • Address student inquiries regarding enrollment, withdrawals, extensions, and exams, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Liaise with the Registrar's Office, Accessibility Centre, and other units to facilitate smooth program delivery.
  • Collect and analyze program feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide input on policy and process development to enhance program delivery and student satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with faculties, departments, and external partners to support program delivery.
  • Serve as a resource for inquiries related to UNB Online's online programming portfolio.
  • Collaborate with support units such as the Registrar's Office and Accessibility Centre to meet student needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and approve promotional campaigns for credit programming and ensure campaigns align with departmental goals.
  • Support workshops, promotional events, and other departmental initiatives.
  • Perform other administrative and logistical tasks as required.
  • Other duties as assigned to support UNB Online and the Centre for Learning Futures.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • University degree required.
  • 5 years of related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

Additional Strengths

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills as well as analytical skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment, initiative, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise with financial and database management, report preparation and analysis.
  • High level of proficiency in computerized environment is required.
  • Familiarity with student management systems and budget tracking tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of emotional intelligence and proven ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with university systems (Colleague) is an asset.
