As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Junior Millwork Estimator to support our estimating team and develop their expertise in the industry.

Job Summary:

As a Millwork Estimator, you will be preparing accurate project estimates by analyzing architectural drawings, specifications, and materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in construction, woodworking, or estimating who is eager to learn and grow within a professional millwork environment. You will work closely with estimating team, project managers, and vendors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review architectural plans, specifications, and bid documents. From this create bids for projects.

• Source and request quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare detailed project estimates and bid proposals.

• Participate in estimator meetings and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information).

• Maintain and update cost databases, vendor pricing, and historical bid information.

• Develop knowledge of millwork materials, fabrication techniques, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in estimating, construction, millwork, or a related field (or relevant education/training).

• Basic understanding of architectural drawings and construction plans.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn estimating software.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

• Eager to learn, and team-oriented.
