Central Zone is seeking the services of a Radiology locum for Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
Central Zone is the second largest health zone in Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services, serving approximately 90,000 people (17 per cent of the province's population) living in 176 communities. With a geographical area encompassing more than half the total land mass of the island, the Central region extends from Charlottetown in the east, Fogo Island in the north, Harbour Breton in the south, to Baie Verte in the west.Central Zone provides a variety of primary, secondary, long-term care, community health, and other enhanced secondary services.
Four radiologists share the workload and on-call duties within the department. Radiology services include: general radiology, ultrasound, mammography, bone densitometry and CT scanning. The position offers a vigorous and varied caseload with an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of technologists, nurses and physicians.

Qualifications Required
eligible for full registration and licensure with the Newfoundland Medical Board to practice as a Radiologist and satisfy credentialing requirements of the NLHS-Central Zone. In accordance with Canadian Immigration regulations, priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
Hours of Work
75 hours bi-weekly plus on call obligations
