Definition of work:
Reporting to the Director of Long-Term Care/Rural Health this Manager will be responsible for delivering a seamless continuum of services to the residents of the Kittiwake Coast Health Service area. This position is accountable for the overall coordination of operational and administrative functions of the Kittiwake Coast Health Service and will work in collaboration with other Manager of Site Operations, Regional Program Directors/Managers, Physicians and local networks, individual community groups and organizations. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual, able to apply his/her creativity in assisting with the ongoing operation and development of health services in the Kittiwake Coast Health Service area. The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care, demonstrate a commitment to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.
Required qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in Nursing.
• Five years' progressive management experience
• Relevant and current experience working in a health framework, leading people and processes as well as leading effective strategic change management initiatives.
• Proven experience in partnership development, program planning and evaluation, project management and leading quality/change initiatives.

• Demonstrated commitment to person and family centered care.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize.

• Class 05 driver's license and the ability to travel.

Preferred qualifications:
• A graduate degree in a health-related discipline
