Construction Safety Nova Scotia (CSNS) is seeking a Member Services Administrator to support our mission of making Nova Scotia's construction industry safer. You'll be at the heart of our operations, offering exceptional member service, ensuring smooth communication and efficient administrative processes. This role is essential in maintaining a positive experience for those we serve whether it's assisting with training registrations, managing inquiries, or supporting safety programs like the Certificate of Recognition (COR®).
Are you ready to:
- Deliver outstanding service and be the first point of contact for members at the reception desk, answering inquiries and directing them to the right resources?
- Support safety training & certifications by managing course registrations, confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists while ensuring instructors have everything they need?
- Ensure operational efficiency by handling administrative tasks such as processing payments, maintaining records and supporting employee bookings and expenses?
- Contribute to safety programs by supporting the COR® certification process, including reviewing evaluations, processing invoices, and guiding companies through compliance steps?

- Members receive seamless support, making it easier for them to access safety training and resources.
- COR® program participants have clear guidance, helping them navigate safety certification requirements with confidence.
- Administrative processes run smoothly, ensuring accurate records, efficient operations, and strong internal coordination.

You're a detail-oriented, organized professional with a passion for customer service and operational excellence. You are eager to identify opportunities to streamline operations and introduce innovative solutions to enhance the overall member experience. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.\
- Education & Experience: A diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience in a business setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel) and database systems. Experience handling data entry, records management, and digital collaboration tools.
- Critical Workplace Skills: A positive attitude with strong communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities. You're adaptable, self-motivated, and thrive both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to Excellence: You take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and approach challenges with a solution-focused mindset. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism is second nature to you.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Nova Scotia's Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations is an asset.
