We are currently seeking a Strategy & Innovation Advisor to join our Strategy & Innovation team based in the Firm's Halifax, Nova Scotia office.

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Innovation, The Strategy & Innovation Advisor will lead or support strategy and innovation initiatives across the firm.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Firm management, lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders to implement solutions that optimize processes and improve service. They will lead or support a wide range of process improvement projects related to administrative processes, professional development, practice related initiatives, and client-specific projects. They will champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Firm, integrating change management principles into all projects.
Supporting the implementation of selected technologies, including AI, the Strategy & Innovation Advisor will ensure seamless integration with existing systems and workflows. They will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these technologies.
Furthermore, the Strategy & Innovation Advisor will develop and conduct training programs to ensure lawyers and staff are proficient in new technologies and processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will promote innovation initiatives internally and externally, enhancing awareness among staff, lawyers, students, and business development prospects.
If you are passionate about driving innovation in a legal setting, with a proven track record in project management, change management, or legal operations we want to hear from you! A Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and experience in a law firm setting would be considered assets.
