JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a talented and versatile corporate communications associate to help us bring the TD story to life through strategic and creative communications initiatives in support of TD's Head of Wealth.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Wealth & Insurance, this colleague will work together CAPA relationship managers (RMs) supporting Wealth, the Head of Wealth's office and business partners to plan and execute communications activities for the Head of Wealth. Working with RMs on both Wealth and Insurance, they will also support the tracking of key communications metrics to measure our impact.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support with the design and execution of programs that align to the Wealth strategy, helping support and achieve business objectives and bring the business strategy and priorities to life.

  • Build the online presence for Head of TD Wealth, specifically on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, leveraging best practices.

  • Working with RMs, build and maintain a communications metrics dashboard for both Wealth and Insurance to track output, growth and share of voice.

  • Manage leader content calendar, track team deliverables and support with executive updates.

  • Develop strong working relationships with leaders and business partners in Wealth and across TD, to tell the Wealth story.

  • Research and support the creation of a wide variety of communication materials including quarterly/year end updates, speaking remarks, scripts, presentations, employee communications and briefing documents for colleague engagements, speaking opportunities, media interviews and internal and external events as required.

  • Support the creation of online intranet publishing, translation and distribution for internal and external communications.

  • Oversee and prioritize incoming requests, both internal and external.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications or in a public relations agency

  • Strong writing and editing skills and proven experience creating content and driving engagement across various communications channels.

  • Understanding of how to communicate with different audiences, with experience planning content and managing timelines.

  • You are an energetic, organized, quick learner with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.

  • An entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset.

  • You enjoy building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • You have a passion for digital content creation.

  • Post-secondary education, preferably a university degree
