Program Administrator, St. John's, NL, (Open to the possibility of remote staff)
Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC), Canada's leading support organization for young adults dealing with cancer is looking for someone who is organized, focused, and adaptable to join our growing office crew. With a small but passionate team, we are committed to making a meaningful impact across the country. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Program Administrator to support our program team in delivering high-quality initiatives.

Major Responsibilities
As a Program Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our program team with administrative tasks, ensuring seamless program operations, and assisting with logistics.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Program Support & Administration
  • Processing program registrations and maintaining participant records
  • Managing communications with program participants and stakeholders
  • Handling inquiries and providing timely responses
  • Logistics & Coordination
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, including preparing materials and taking minutes
  • Providing logistical support for program-related events and workshops
  • Assisting with data entry and reporting
  • Technology & Communications
  • Managing spreadsheets and databases (Excel & Google Suite)
  • Using tools like Zoom for virtual program delivery
  • Assisting with design tasks (Canva) and donor management (Donor Perfect)


What You Bring
Must-haves:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a small, growing organization

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with Canva, Donor Perfect, and Zoom
  • Bilingualism (English & French) is a strong asset
