CIVIL TECHNICIAN

GEMTEC is a growing firm with offices throughout Atlantic Canada and Ontario, and we are looking for a motivated and skilled Civil Technician to join our Team. We currently have an opening for a Civil Technician in our Fredericton, NB location.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• College Level Diploma is considered an asset.
  
• Experience with civil municipal projects.
  
• Extensive experience working with computer assisted drafting (Civil 3D).
  
• Experience surveying is considered an asset.

Main Duties:

• Developing site layouts for proposed developments.
  
• Building existing condition drawings from field surveys (possibly by others) and record drawings.
• Using the design parameters to build a full 3D model complete with plan and profiles where needed and required details to complete the work
  
• Adhering to all company policies.
  
• Other duties as required.

Other:

• Full-time position
  
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle is an asset.
