VICE PRINCIPAL (5 YEAR) - SUNNY BRAE MIDDLE SCHOOL

2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

This position starts at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year. Planning and preparation will be required prior to the beginning of the school year.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Subject to the response to the competition, education and experience requirements may be raised. All applicants must:

• have at least five years teaching experience
• have or have had a continuing contract with a School District
• New Brunswick Principal's Certificate (an asset)

SHORTLISTING

Only candidates who meet the above requirements are eligible for appointment to positions of responsibility, except when no applications from teachers with such qualifications have been received. For the purpose of short listing for the interview selection process, preference will be given to applicants who:

• demonstrate success in working and leading in a collaborative working environment.
• have teaching/administration experience at the level(s) to which they are applying.
• demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of research based high impact instructional and assessment practices appropriate to the level of the curricula.
