MPE, a division of Englobe, is seeking a Electrical Engineering CO-OP / Summer Student to join our team in our Calgary office.

The position will start in May 2025 and 4-month summer positions, and 16-month co-op positions are available.

Your Contribution

  • Providing project engineering support and technical assistance on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects supporting our Municipal and Water Resource Sectors.
  • Preparing cost estimates, technical calculations and reports, meeting minutes, specifications, equipment selection and contract documents under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
  • Liaising with team members, regulatory agencies, utility companies and contractors.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge and understanding of safety policies and procedures.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules

Your Profile

  • Enrollment in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University with a minimum of two years towards your degree.
  • Good verbal communication and technical writing skills.
  • Show an aptitude of general construction methods.
  • Valid driver's license (job duties may include some travel and site work).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • The position will start in May 2025 and 4-month summer positions, and 16-month co-op positions are available.
