Halifax Water is hiring for the job of Manager, I&T Project Management Office. This is a regular opportunity in the Corporate Services Department and has full-time hours.

As a Manager, I&T Project Management Office, you will:

  • Be responsible for the governance, sustainment, and execution of all I&T project in the Halifax Water Strategic Technology Roadmap.
  • Lead a group of experienced project managers, business analysts, change managers and technical resources int eh production of project deliverables to enable the achievement of the strategic business goals.
  • Certifications in Risk Management and ITIL.

To do this job, you need to have:

  • An undergraduate degree including specialized training in project management or a post-secondary diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Ten years of progressively responsible related experience in an information technology project management role.
  • Direct supervisory experience of project managers and business analysts.
  • Demonstrated experience to manage a team of project managers delivering large complect information technology projects, including projects delivering both custom and package solutions.
