Attention Students!

We're looking for energetic and motivated post-secondary students who enjoy learning new skills on the job, working outdoors & being part of a team!

Responsibilities may include:

• Assist in the construction and development of new trails with the Town's trail system

• Landscaping, preparation, and maintenance including cutting grass, preparing flower beds, planting flowers, watering, weeding and other gardening duties

• Operation of push and ride mowers, grass trimmers and other tools/ equipment

• Sports field maintenance and inspection

• General maintenance and facility upkeep of parks, playgrounds, and buildings including light cleaning, painting and minor repairs

• General Labour-Landscaping

To qualify, you must:

• Currently be a post-secondary student

• Be enrolled in a post-secondary program for Fall 2025

• Current NB Driver's Abstract meeting Town's expectations

• Ability to safely operate various maintenance tools, equipment and machinery

• Demonstrated teamwork abilities

This position offers a 4-day compressed work week of 40 hours per week and is scheduled to begin the first week of May and continue through until the end of August.
