The Director, Quality Assurance, Risk Transformation Program leads and oversees the Quality Assurance and Challenge review program deliverables for major milestones related to the Risk Transformation program to ensure deliverables are executed / delivered in compliance with regulatory expectations, internal policies and procedures, and will meet our sustainable, target state goals.
The Director, Quality Assurance, Risk Transformation Program is a key role to i) direct and lead the quality assurance team leveraging existing Subject Matter Expertise across the first and second line; ii) ensure the deliverables demonstrate the major milestones comply with relevant regulatory expectations and internal Bank standards, are aligned with all-bank strategic goals, and the target state for specific initiatives, and ensure sustainability is prioritized.
This role is a part of the Transformation Management Office within Global Risk Management.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Lead and drive a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Be responsible for developing, executing and reporting on the Quality Assurance Program for the Risk Transformation program and individual program initiatives. This includes interaction with both the teams and Audit and oversight of work performed in local operational risk teams.
- Be responsible for managing the internal relationships with risk representatives/initiatives owners, transformation leads, Compliance and Audit on behalf of the Program. This includes managing audits and audit issue closures; and ensuring compliance of the Program enhancements with the internal Bank regulatory compliance management standards.
- Be responsible for coordinating and reporting on milestone and issue status across the 3 lines of defence;
- Lead and manage initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Risk Transformation program such as lead change/projects, identify process improvements, etc., as assigned and/or collaborate with the Risk Transformation Change Management Director
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 7+ years of experience in audit, QAR, methodology and compliance
- Accounting designation preferred
- A strong understanding of risk management practices
