HRCE is inviting qualified School Psychologists to express their interest in being considered for positions for the 2025-2026 school year by applying to this posting.
This is an itinerant/circuit position within the Halifax Regional Centre for Education. If offered a contract, recipients will be advised in the Spring of the applicable staffing process and timelines to secure a School Psychologist position within HRCE schools for September 2025.

The School Psychologist provides specialized knowledge and skills in the area of psycho-educational assessment, behavioral intervention and consultation in relation to curriculum and social outcomes for students. Qualifications required:
- Masters Degree in Psychology/School Psychology;
- Eligibility for Registration by the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology;
- Special Certificate from the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Office of Teacher Certification;
HRCE offers:
- Approximate ratio of Psychologist/students of 1:1500
- Competitive salary
- Hours ranging from 8:00 - 4:00 depending on the school
- Mixture of 10-month and 12-month contracts are available
- Mileage reimbursement
