Your Contribution
As an Electrical Designer/Engineer, you will work in collaboration with the Electrical Engineering team
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Liaising with client & other consultants to determine project's scope, under supervision of Senior Engineer/Designer.
- Documenting and communicating project's scope to in-house design team members.
- Coordinating electrical requirements with senior mechanical Engineer/Designer.
- Coordinating with client, architect, interior designer and other consultants.
- Preparing drawings using office CAD system.
- Respecting project schedule.
- Ensuring plans and specifications conform to applicable codes, good engineering practice and project scope.
- Participating in maintaining firm's quality standard.
- Managing/coordinating multiple projects.
- Performing load calculations.
- Preparing detailed design layout.
- Reviewing project documentation.
- Participating in design review meetings.
- Construction administration and site review.
- Obtaining stamp and signature from signing engineer.
- Assisting senior to monitor and control in-house costs and compare to project budget.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
Your Profile
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology or similar field.
- 5 or more years of experience in building service.
- 5 or more years of experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit, required.
- Valid PSPC Security Clearance or the ability to attain it.
- Possession of a valid P.Eng. or CET designation preferred.
- Problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong understanding of Acts, Codes and Engineering Practices.
- Well-developed understanding of theories and principles.
- Proficient skills in Tools, Methods, Techniques and Practices of the industry.
Qualifications:
