We are searching for a part-time Van Driver (weekends) to join our team based in Moncton, New Brunswick. This is a temporary position, with an end date of April 30, 2025. There is a possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be expected to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

About the Opportunity
• Operate the NB Food Van from Moncton (Parkland Station Yards) to Fredericton North (Medley/Neill Hall)
• Loads truck with distribution carts for the satellite sites in an efficient manner according to the approved schedule
• Porters carts from trucks to Satellite Site receiver kitchen walk-in refrigerator and stores in an orderly manner
• Documents and cross checks each load to ensure that all destination serveries are accounted for
• Maintains van in peak operating condition and carries out all prescribed routine maintenance functions.
• Maintains van and receiving area at central site in a clean, tidy and sanitary condition
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
• A high-school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience in transporting fragile and perishable goods considered a strong asset
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• A clean driving record with a Class 5 Driver's license
• Ability to provide a clear Driver's abstract
• Ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire
• A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care
