The Opportunity
We are currently inviting applications from individuals who have an orientation towards accurate and efficient quality assurance practices, along with expertise in proving service excellence. With direction from the Manager, Plan Compliance and Employer Relations, the Quality Assurance Analyst will provide service to members and pensioners through applying quality assurance practices and procedures. This is a full-time, permanent position located in St. John's, NL.
Your key activities will include:
- Audit to ensure all necessary information and documentation are on file and maintained in the appropriate system for plan members, following up with appropriate team member to resolve.
- Apply knowledge of legislation, regulations, the Plan provisions, and established procedures to determine issues, problems, omissions and discrepancies within individual pension transactions.
- Ensure processes, as outlined in the quality assurance plan, are followed and report to the Manager any inconsistencies with a process.
- Maintain a log of all errors, omissions and discrepancies identified that require correction.
- Provide information and communication to team member with respect to any discrepancies identified for the files they have processed and forwarded for verification.
What you'll bring to the role:
- University Degree or College Diploma or equivalent. CEBS, PPAC, CBP is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in public sector pension administration.
- Prior experience with implementing new pension systems, testing methodologies, quality reviews, data integrity and team work ethic is an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced expertise with using Microsoft Excel is required.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail as well as mathematical aptitude, problem solving, and time management skills are required for this position.
Salary Range: $79,100 - $110,600
