Moosehead Breweries is the last major brewery in Canada still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been led by the Oland family since 1867. After more than 155 years, our history is as rich as the flavor of our beer.

We are currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our team at the Saint John Brewery. This position will support the strategic sourcing of goods and services to support Sales, Marketing, Packaging, and Brewery operations, including the Small Batch Brewery.

Responsabilités
  • You will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of Marketing POS, Capex, Packaging, and Brewing materials.
  • Selection of suppliers based on research, analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Execution of Requisitions and Purchase Orders with various suppliers.
  • Support the Capex program - POs, CRFs, Spend Tracker.
  • Support the production planning, forecasting and material release processes.
  • Initiation and participation in Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Development and tracking of Cost Savings initiatives.
  • Establishment of internal and external relationships
  • Hold supply partners accountable to terms, delivery, quality, and process.
  • Maintenance of various Reports and Data.
  • Providing support and vacation coverage to the Procurement Group.
  • Administration and other tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • You have a post-secondary education with 1-2 years of business experience, preferably with some experience in procurement, logistics, marketing, and/or supply chain management.
  • You will bring business acumen and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • You are a motivated self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • You can manage multiple deadlines and multi-task in an ever changing, fast-paced environment.
  • You are organized with an attention to accuracy and detail, with time management skills.
  • You are an effective team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or other enterprise platforms would be considered an asset.
