Leads and oversees the career transition and offboarding experience team, ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The Senior Manager, HR Data Management is responsible for supporting the Offboarding and Career Transition Advisors, Consultants, and Team Leads to deliver accurate, effective, and efficient responses and actions to employee transition requests.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Lead and drive a customer-focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader organizational relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Provide guidance to Advisors, Consultants, and Team Leads, ensuring the processing of employee offboarding and career transition activities are completed in alignment with standard processes and performance targets.
  • Coach Advisors, Consultants, and Team Leads to develop and retain talent, fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Develop and hold self and team accountable to meet objectives aligned with unit goals and KPIs, prioritizing workload and reallocating resources as required to optimize results.
  • Track and report on volume and activity completed by the team through regular and established reporting mechanisms.
  • Partner with other HR teams and business lines to ensure corporate projects and initiatives are completed effectively and efficiently.
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, consulting with senior management and other stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
  • Understand and incorporate the organization's risk appetite and risk culture into day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Lead the education and ongoing development of the Employee Transition Operations team by creating, delivering, and maintaining training and communication materials across appropriate channels (e.g., team huddles, lunch and learn sessions, internal posts, new-hire orientation training).
  • Manage high-profile, sensitive, or complex inquiries or escalations by providing necessary support to the team, assuming ownership and managing inquiries directly, or determining when further escalation is required.
  • Seek opportunities to improve processes and customer service by identifying service deficiencies and consulting with senior management to develop solutions. Support change initiatives across the team, identifying and analyzing opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor trends in inquiries and issues, sharing key insights with senior management.
  • Implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive work environment, using a coaching mindset, communicating vision/values/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Human Resources or Business or related field.
  • CHRP designation is considered an asset.
  • Relevant experience in resolving customer service requests.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational structure and complexity.
  • Experience coaching/leading a small team.
  • Knowledge of data administration and end-to-end processes.
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with transaction processing and data management.
  • Experience in conflict/issue resolution.
  • Must exhibit good judgment and authority, along with strong analytical skills to provide solutions and expertise to HR-related inquiries
  • Strong computer application skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat.
