Whitbourne Drug Mart is an independently owned and operated pharmacy serving the community of Whitbourne and surrounding areas for over 40 years. They are seeking a Pharmacist who enjoys practicing to their full scope and shows strong customer service skills, ability to self-direct, and be part of their cohesive team.

The Role:

• Ensuring the pharmacy complies with all regulations regarding dispensing of medicine
• Overseeing the inventory of pharmaceutical supplies
• Following policies and procedures for successful operations
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment to ensure health and safety
• Addressing customer complaints and ensuring high customer service standards are consistently met
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Administering vaccines and providing health and wellness screenings as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, policies, procedures and regulations
• Proficient in pharmacy software and technology
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to deal with customers, address their concerns, and maintain a loyal customer base
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with healthcare providers, counsel patients about medications, and communicate effectively with staff
• Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring accurate prescription filling, inventory management, and maintenance of pharmacy records
