The Cove Guest Home is currently seeking a Human Resource Professional to join our Leadership Team. Reporting to the CEO/Administrator, this on-site permanent full-time position supports employees and collaborates closely with the Leadership Team ensuring fairness, equality and respect.
Requirements:
- Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
- Recent experience in delivering Human Resource services preferred
- Skilled communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organization levels
- Understands/knowledgeable working within a unionized environment
- Strong knowledge of Health Care regulations and legislative guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop policies and guidelines in alignment with employment laws & regulations
- Align talent strategies with organization goals
- Address critical talent priorities including succession planning
- Develop and implement programs to foster a culture of belonging
- Analyze and resolve business and profile related issues
- Support Directors with performance reviews
- Drive positive employee relationships, engagement & activities
- Develop and implement HR programs and services
- Support staff recruitment and onboarding activities
- Serves as primary point of contact with employees on HR matters within the scope of the role
- Partner with other HR professionals to determine best practices for employee experience
- Other related duties may be assigned as role matures
