We're looking for our data and financial MVP, who will play a critical role in driving informed decision-making and contributing to the organization's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Analyst on our team, you'll be at the heart of the action. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Gather and analyze data about our key events and activities including attendance, consumer spending, pricing strategies and other data that help us develop and deliver an exciting calendar of events.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and dashboards that effectively communicate findings and variance reports to key stakeholders, including Senior Management, Executive Committees and Board of Directors.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and support the implementation of risk management initiatives to safeguard the financial health and stability of the organization.
  • Create financial models to inform and influence the financial, economic and business conditions facing SJSEL
  • Work with the SJSEL Management team to develop, report and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

To be our MVP in this role, you'll need the following:

  • A bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, demonstrating strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, pricing, budgeting, forecasting and data analysis
  • Experience using Microsoft Office product suite with proficiency using Excel.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience
