This job posting is for a Customer Support & Operations Specialist, and while the role doesn't require engineering knowledge, it's important to have an interest in what we do. You'll be working directly with our customers to fulfill wholesale and direct orders, answer questions about products, create quotes and invoices, and support the smooth operation of our day-to-day business.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations and Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our operations, order fulfillment, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Export Compliance: Handle international shipping and customs documentation. Ensure timely and accurate shipments, manage export compliance, and resolve any shipping-related issues.
Order & Inventory Management: Process orders, create quotes and invoices, package and coordinate shipping for e-commerce and wholesale orders. Maintain accurate records of inventory, details about our 100+ products, pre-order waitlists, and customer orders.
Customer Support: Respond to customer emails regarding product inquiries, sales, and technical support.
Salesforce CRM Management: Manage the Salesforce CRM system, including delegating and responding to customer support tickets, requests, and leads
Marketing & Promotions: Create and send out newsletters, flyers, and other promotional materials. Develop written content to promote products, services, and training courses. For design work, external contractors will be used as needed.
Website & Webstore Management: Oversee updates to the company website (Wix) and webstore (BigCommerce), ensuring accurate product information, pricing, and inventory.
Distributor Communication: Maintain communication with distributors to ensure smooth supply chain management and address concerns or inquiries.
Project & Funding Applications: Assist in identifying and applying for project funding opportunities, grants, and financial support.
Office Management & Hiring Support: Handle general office duties, and production support, as required and assist with recruitment tasks, including creating job postings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 2 years experience or 6+ years of experience in operations, customer service, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in using CRMs (Salesforce or other), managing online storefronts and website management platforms.
Knowledge of customs export regulations is a plus.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in copy-writing, marketing and creating promotional materials (newsletters, flyers, etc.) is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with teams.
Applicants must have necessary work permits to work in Canada.
