SmartDoor is looking for a highly independent and resourceful Senior Full Stack Software Developer.

We're seeking a self-starter who can take ownership of projects from conception to deployment. You should be comfortable identifying challenges, developing solutions, and implementing them effectively within our existing architecture. Our technology stack includes an IoT device backend (AWS IoT Core, DynamoDB, Lambda) and a client-facing application (Firebase/Angular).

About the Role:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at SmartDoor, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our entire application ecosystem. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to drive projects forward independently.

Responsibilities:

Independently analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement features for both our IoT backend and Angular/Firebase app. This includes taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept to final deployment.

Proactively identify and address technical challenges, proposing and implementing effective solutions.

Develop and maintain robust and scalable solutions using AWS (DynamoDB, Timestream, Lambda) and Firebase, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and conducting thorough testing.

Contribute to project planning, providing realistic timelines and proactively communicating progress and potential roadblocks.

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, providing ongoing support and enhancements.

Required Skills:

Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.

Strong experience with full-stack development, including both backend and frontend technologies.

Solid understanding of AWS services, specifically IoT Core, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Timestream.

Proficiency in Angular and Firebase.

Experience with database design and management.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
