As the Senior Analyst, Communications: Innovation and Design, you will develop and share impactful communications across various media, manage SharePoint sites, and design communication elements to support the Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) team's business strategies and objectives.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and share communications across various media, including clients, web, app, and branch, in collaboration with respective communications leads/groups. This includes creating, maintaining, and publishing content on internal and customer-facing websites and portals managed by the RESL team.
  • Investigate and report on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate multiple high-priority projects concurrently with superior project management skills.
  • Demonstrate standardized communication practices that build trust, with flexibility where needed.
  • Ensure accuracy of RESL employee messaging and related resources through effective stakeholder management, including technology, mortgage operations, policy, branch, and leadership teams.
  • Maintain partnerships with stakeholders across the enterprise to further RESL priorities and promote transparency.
  • Design and create communication elements, including content/graphic design and print design, ensuring compliance with enterprise design and brand standards.
  • Manage and maintain RESL SharePoint sites, including building new sites and ensuring efficient navigation and content updates.
  • Organize and manage communications for events such as conferences and recognition programs for top-selling advisors.
  • Develop tangible materials to promote key topics and maintain awareness among target audiences.
  • Solicit and leverage feedback for continuous improvements in communication strategies and materials.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • University degree or college diploma in communications, content writing/development, business, or a related field (completed or in progress).
  • 1-2 years of experience in communications writing, preferably in a financial services or agency environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create effective print and online content.
  • Knowledge of CMS and SharePoint site creation.
  • Ability to simplify and translate complex messages into digestible key messages.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with partners/teams across the network.
  • Interest in driving strategy through effective communication and employee engagement tactics.
  • Strategic thinking skills and financial acumen with attention to detail and accountability for deliverables.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to create enthusiasm and foster a team environment.
  • Knowledge of creative digital and design tools such as Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and Canva, is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French is an asset.
  • Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid role with travel to our Downtown Toronto office)
