Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and support a team of instructional designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Manage workload distribution, set project priorities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
Conduct regular team meetings, provide performance feedback, and support professional development.
Instructional Design and Development
Oversee the design and development of eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, and blended learning solutions.
Ensure alignment with instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or Agile.
Review and provide feedback on storyboards, scripts, prototypes, and final course outputs.
Collaborate with multimedia developers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to ensure instructional effectiveness.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary instructional design point of contact for clients, gathering requirements and managing expectations.
Provide strategic guidance to clients on effective learning solutions tailored to their organizational goals.
Present design concepts and prototypes to clients, incorporating feedback into the final product.
Quality Assurance and Standards
Establish and enforce instructional design standards, templates, and best practices.
Ensure all learning products meet accessibility (e.g., WCAG 2.1, Section 508) and usability standards.
Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain consistency and excellence across projects.
Project Management
Coordinate with project managers to develop realistic timelines and resource plans.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks proactively.
Maintain documentation on instructional strategies, client interactions, and project outcomes.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Proven expertise in designing eLearning solutions using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
Experience working in an eLearning development company is required.
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of instructional design theories, models, and adult learning principles.
Proficiency in authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and graphic design basics.
